Went back and forth yesterday whether I should do another arms blast this week and decided to go ahead. My biceps and triceps weren't too sore, so ultimately I think I recovered enough from the first one to do some good. My chest, however, is another story. It's wrecked... still. I think instead of another chest blast or leg blast (yeah, those are killed too), I'm going to make my own special back workout for tomorrow and throw in some abs at the end.
I'll do some research and develop it today. Gotta force myself to include deadlifts. Ugh.

I decided to hit arms first for this blast week. I also kept the weight gaps a bit smaller during drop-sets. Nothing much to say other than 'ouch'. Picking things up is difficult.

The weights at the Y are a bit lighter on the cable machines, so my numbers are artificially high. It doesn't matter since I'm just using them to keep track and working to failure regardless, but just for notes. They have a preacher curl bench, which I've been missing, so that was a good addition. Good arm workout overall and I'm definitely seeing results from the blast week as well. Once I fully heal up this week I expect to see some pretty good gains.

Decided to go above and beyond this blast week and hit five workouts. My legs are still shot from the leg blast, but I figured my arms could probably use another day. I switched to the regular curl machine instead of preacher curls for a change. On to the five-day split tomorrow with shoulders up first.

Extremely sore from chest yesterday, but I powered through it for arms today. Good workout, and I'm already feeling the soreness. I'll probably do some cardio and abs tomorrow, then hit chest again on Thursday.

Same story as Friday, but with arms. I also did a normal ab set as well, so I'm pretty much sore all over. Got a good long workout in. I'm just going to do the leg, shoulder, calf, and back exercises for total body tomorrow and hit everything again on Wednesday.

Well, I could barely unlock my locker at the gym this morning. Arms: blasted. I'll do chest again on Friday and I'll probably just stick to cardio next week for a rest week, though I may do a leg blast at some point just to get some lifting in there and not neglect legs for two weeks in a row.

I did the Arms Blast workout for the first time Monday morning. I'm still sore and it's Wednesday, so that's good. I'm not going to list the details of the exercises since it's a paid program, but I'm going to keep records of the weights I used since I've decided to update my THT schedule and I'll need to reference them again in a month or so. I'll also be doing the Leg Blast workout tomorrow morning (Thursday).
From now until the foreseeable future I'm going to stay on the growth program. I'm also going to keep a structure of 5 weeks total body, blast week, 5 weeks body part split, blast week, repeat. It shakes things up enough to keep me interested and should do adequately at preventing plateaus. Each blast week will consist of legs and another muscle group, either chest or arms for the time being.
