The humanity. The Johnson City gym only has four 45 plates per smith machine, meaning to hit 270+ I need three on each side, so I have to steal two from another machine. Nobody was there when I started but two sets in someone came to another station and started doing squats with the rest of the 45 plates. Another guy came up to the third machine and had no plates, so I hurried to finish. I might've rested 30 seconds between each set, and my legs are absolutely murdered. I'll add in another set of lunges next week with the heavier weight, assuming I can move by then.
