I decided to start doing some HIIT again since my cardio is getting a bit lazy. I found a technique called Hurricane Sprints which I've been doing a variant of for a while. Basically you sprint 30 seconds and immediately drop into an upper body exercise (push-ups, rows, etc.), then repeat twice. That counts as one set with the goal being three sets. I got two today. Looking to move up to three next week, and then incremental sprint increases thereafter.
